Spring Creek Ranch Residence

This residence is located in Spring Creek Ranch near the Amangani on East Gros Ventre Butte above the town of Jackson. The high elevation and exposed site required the development of outdoor spaces providing wind and solar protection yet allowing splendid views of the Teton Mountain Range. Site materials include a combination of stone and concrete consistent with materials both on and inside the house.

Parks are passive and active, mutli-seasonal and flexible in function. Simplicity and environmental stewardship are principal elements of enduring parks projects.

Ranches are complex in how they operate through the seasons. The land, and operations, read strong in every well functioning, beautiful ranch.

Every site provides opportunities for house placement, orientation and access at any scale. The exterior should interact with the interior, and outdoor space is best defined with existing elements.

Communities are diverse requiring unique responses to every project.

The natural environment is the draw for most resort communities. Connecting visitors and residence to the environment is central in the resort experience.
